The Gap Community
The Gap is located 10 km from the Brisbane CBD, nestled in the foothills of Mt Coot-tha, surrounded by bushland and is home to about 16,000 people. It is well serviced with four primary schools and one high school, shopping centres, sporting clubs, parks and a bus service.
Historical
Founded in 1960, The Gap Baptist Church was birthed from nearby Ashgrove Baptist and has since established its own place in The Gap community. Over the years our church has had the privilege of seeing many people meet Jesus, loving and serving the local community and helping the congregation to live Godly lives through the Holy Spirit.
Denominational Association
Under the banner of the Baptist Union of Queensland, we are a self-governing church and reserve the freedom to choose the style and way that we worship God.
Yet we also recognise the benefits and synergy gained through our Denominational association.
