To Discuss Matters of Faith

If you are in the process of considering matters of faith and would like to chat about your questions, we would be happy to share what we can with you. Every one at our church is on a journey as well and we certainly don’t have all the answers, in fact we have many questions as well. Some matters of faith have been debated for centuries without anyone coming to a conclusion. However the important matters relating to how humans can be absolutely certain of their eternal future, our value and identity etc have been made clear to us.

If You Have Prayer Requests

At TGBC we believe in the power of prayer.

We do not understand why some of our prayers are unanswered and others take time before we get the answer…. But we have seen God answer our prayers so many times that we are encouraged to bring our requests to Him constantly.

Personal prayer
If you are going through some particular challenging situation at present and would value the support and care of people who are connected with the all-powerful creator of the universe, why not together ask for God’s help and intervention.

Prayer for someone you care about
We can also pray with you for someone you care about even if they live far away. God is not limited by time or space and can answer our prayers when we ask Him.

Healing
We have experienced God’s power to heal and always welcome the opportunity to pray with anyone who is sick or struggling with some physical disability. In the Bible, which we believe is one of the ways God has shown us who He is and how He desires us to respond to Him; we find many accounts of people being healed by asking God in Prayer.

We don’t understand why not every prayer is answered when we would like this to happen, but we continue to bring our prayers to God in faith that He is always good and knows what is best for us.

Are you new to The Gap or would like to meet new friends?

One of the reasons we gather together if for friendship and mutual support and encouragement. The Bible likens the church to a large family, with Jesus Christ as our leader. In a healthy church, each member contributes their personality, talents and character, making a community of people from all walks of life, nationalities, socio-economic standings, professions etc; welcome and valued.

Our aim is to be such a place and would love the opportunity to embrace you as well.
