Sunday Worship Service
As a church we love to get together and worship our God. Each Sunday morning at 9am we gather as the people of God. We enjoy worshipping God as we sing songs of praise to Him, reading God’s Word, sharing testimonies of what God has been doing in our lives, and seeking to grow in God’s ways as we are challenged by the Spirit of God through one of our speakers. We aim to make Sunday mornings enjoyable, celebratory, meaningful and personally challenging.
After church we encourage everyone to stay around and connect with each other. During this time, we open our coffee cart which is renowned for serving excellent coffee. This is a great time to chat, catch up with friends, meet new friends, or talk about what God has been doing in your life.
Kids Connect
At TGBC we’re passionate about sharing Jesus in a fun and engaging way with the kids who come along. We are committed to creating an exciting space for kids to belong, explore and experience the wonders of God and His love.
Kids are a vital part of the church family and are encouraged to join with the church family in our Sunday morning worship. During the sermon Kids Connect offers a children’s program for all primary school age children. Our vision is that kids of all ages would grow in love with Jesus and grow in his likeness.
Prayer
Prayer is a vital part church life. God the Father loves to hear from his kids in prayer. As Paul said in 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18, “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” After each service, there is an opportunity for personal prayer with our prayer team. TGBC provides opportunities for us to join together as seek our wonderful Heavenly Father. We have regular prayer meetings at:
- 8:15am each Sunday morning in the prayer room.
- 7:30pm on the first Friday of the month.
Life Groups
Our Life Groups provide an opportunity outside our church services for people to get together in homes or at the church for friendships, discussion about spiritual and life issues, and to provide support for one another.
They typically go for around 90 minutes and include discussion, sharing any concerns and life matters, Bible study and prayer. There are a variety of groups that meet weekly or fortnightly – we would love to help you find a group that suits you.
RI in School
We believe in the power of the Good News of Jesus and Jesus’ command to “Go and make Disciples of every nation.” We are therefore, committed to sharing with students each week. Several of our congregation teach RI at a number of schools including Payne Road and Enoggera State Schools and we would to love to see this team of teachers and schools grow in the future.
Craft Morning
Craft Group meets at 9:30am every second Tuesday. An enjoyable time of making friends, sharing morning tea and a bit of craft as well. See calendar for dates.
